Zimmerman Ordered Back to Jail for Lying to Court

It looks like George Zimmerman is going to be spending some more time behind bars very soon.  No, he did not shoot and kill anybody else.  This time, Zim returning to jail because he and his family apparently lied in court about how much money they had in order to get his bond price lowered so they could free him.

Prosecutors involved in the case have discovered that he and his family have more money than they let on, which is why he has until this coming Sunday, June 3rd, to turn himself back into a Florida jail.

The prosecutors working the case sought a revocation of his bond settlement because his family neglected to mention that they had established a website that was used to gain money for Zimmerman's bond.  Since his release the website has gained over $200,000.  This bit of information was never brought up during his bond hearing.  His family claimed that their funds were extremely limited.

"This court was led to believe they didn't have a single penny.  It was misleading, and I don't know what words to use other than it was a blatant lie," said prosecutor Bernie De La Rionda.

And so, Florida Circuit Judge Kenneth Lester has ruled in favor of the prosecution, and now George Zimmerman is jail bound once again.  It is unclear if he will have a second bond hearing to offer him an opportunity to be released yet again, or if his stay in jail will be extended until his trial is over.  What is known is that George Zimmerman being in jail is a very dangerous situation for him.
