Letter: Khrushchev prediction slowly coming true

“We do not have to invade the United States, we will destroy you from within.”
This is a quote attributed to the late Soviet Premier Nikita Khrushchev.
Sounds like a wise man, a modern day Nostradamus — and also a man who helped Stalin murder hundreds of thousands of political opponents in Russia.
I know at this late hour everyone who intends to vote already has choosen their candidate. I beg you to keep in mind that freedoms we have enjoyed in the past are being taken from us a little at a time, just as Khrushchev predicted.
I think its time to turn this ship around.
