Baltimore Deserves Transparency and Accountability
It’s frustrating to watch how little transparency surrounds programs like Safe Streets and how little accountability we see in city leadership. Too often, our leaders seem more focused on protecting their own image than protecting the people of Baltimore.
The public deserves to know where funding goes, who benefits, and whether these programs truly make our neighborhoods safer. Too many residents accept what they’re told without questioning — and that’s how poor leadership thrives.
Baltimore needs more citizens who ask hard questions, demand audits, and refuse to be silenced by political loyalty or fear. Real progress starts when we stop trusting titles and start holding everyone in power accountable.
