Are The Demoncrats are really trying like hell to force a civil war?

The U.S. Constitution grants the federal government primary authority over immigration, even though it doesn’t mention the word “immigration” explicitly. This power is derived from clauses such as the Naturalization Clause and the Commerce Clause in Article I, Section 8, which give Congress the authority to regulate citizenship and foreign affairs. The Supreme Court has consistently upheld that immigration enforcement is a federal responsibility, not a state one, as seen in landmark cases like Arizona v. United States

While many Americans support stricter immigration controls, the issue remains politically divisive. Demoncrats who oppose certain enforcement measures often do so based on self serving concerns, arguments of due process where there clearly are none, or the craving of continuous power—even if it  defies the Constitution. The debate over immigration policy reflects deep divisions and polarization of the American society, but the Constitution clearly assigns the power to regulate immigration to the federal government.

The people of the United States, the President, and this Congress wants the illegals out!

So why are the Demoncrats so hell bent on defying the will of the people?

If a majority of voters elected leaders who support enforcing existing immigration laws, including deportations through ICE, then those laws should be carried out—regardless of whether some lawmakers or interest groups like them or not.

That’s the principle of the rule of law: laws are not optional or suggestions, and no elected official gets to selectively ignore them based on personal agendas. If laws on the books—passed by previous Congresses and upheld by courts—making illegal entry a deportable offense, then the government has a duty to enforce them. Otherwise, we undermine the very foundation of our legal system. If laws can be ignored simply because certain officials or political factions disagree with them, then why have laws at all? Either we are a nation of laws, or we are a nation of politics—and if it’s the latter, then the rule of law is nothing more than a slogan.

Again, the Constitution explicitly states that... The authority over who may enter the United States derives from the U.S. Constitution, primarily from Congress's power to regulate immigration under Article I, Section 8 and the Executive's power to enforce the laws and protect the nation under Article II.

Congress provides the statutory framework through laws like The Immigration and Nationality Act (INA), which grants the President broad authority to suspend the entry of certain aliens.

The President then uses this statutory and constitutional power to direct enforcement actions, such as preventing the physical entry of individuals deemed detrimental to national interests.

Moreover, Federal laws prohibiting interference!

Using its constitutional authority, Congress has established federal laws that prohibit interfering with the immigration process. These are codified in Title 8 of the U.S. Code and include offenses such as:

  • Alien smuggling: Transporting, harboring, or bringing non-citizens into the U.S. illegally.
  • Immigration fraud: Illegally obtaining or using visas, immigration permits, or other documents, including marriage fraud.
  • Document fraud: Creating or using fake passports, visas,  or other false identity documents.
  • Unlawful employment: Knowingly hiring or continuing to employ unauthorized non-citizens.
Penalties for violating immigration laws
Penalties for immigration offenses can be severe and include fines, imprisonment, and deportation. The specific penalties depend on the nature and severity of the crime.
