This Is Bigger Than any one Election
Demoncrats believe that “out of total chaos comes perfect order.” Whether that philosophy is actually guiding today's political decisions is a question Americans should be willing to examine. But one thing is certain: what is happening in America is bigger than any single election.
People keep framing every major political conflict around the next election. I believe we need to look beyond election cycles and confront the broader questions of national security, immigration enforcement, public safety, and the rule of law.

“Finish the Job”? Americans Deserve to Ask What Job Has Been Done — And Who Paid the Price
When Joe Biden rolled out his 2023 campaign slogan — “Let’s finish the job” — he assumed Americans would nod along as if the last seven decades of political decisions have been some kind of success story. But before anyone agrees to “finish” anything, the country has every right to demand clarity: What job are we talking about? Who started it? And why does it look like ordinary Americans have been paying the bill for decades while political elites cash in?
For many Americans, particularly those who believe the country has moved in the wrong direction, the concerns did not begin with Joe Biden. They point to a long history of decisions made by presidents and members of Congress from both parties.
President Lyndon B. Johnson’s Great Society programs, building on the legacy of the New Deal, also played a significant role in reshaping the political relationship between Black Americans and the Democratic Party. While these programs were designed to address poverty, economic inequality, health care, housing, and civil rights, their expansion of the federal government also became an important part of the Democratic Party’s political coalition.
The political realignment of Black voters toward the Democratic Party, however, did not begin with Johnson or the New Deal. It developed over several decades. Black voters began shifting away from the Republican Party during the New Deal era, particularly in response to Franklin D. Roosevelt’s economic policies. The shift accelerated during the civil-rights era, as Democratic leaders increasingly supported civil-rights legislation and the Republican Party became more closely associated with opposition to some federal civil-rights policies.
The Civil Rights Act of 1964 and the Voting Rights Act of 1965, both signed by Johnson, were pivotal achievements of the civil-rights movement and had lasting political consequences. Johnson’s Great Society programs likewise expanded the federal government’s role in American social policy.
Critics argue that the expansion of federal welfare programs created long-term dependency and strengthened the Democratic Party’s relationship with Black voters. Supporters counter that these programs provided critical assistance and expanded economic and civil rights opportunities for millions of Americans.
The historical record therefore presents a more complicated picture than the claim that the New Deal and Johnson’s programs “only worked to realign the Black vote.” They had significant social and economic effects, while also contributing to one of the most consequential political realignments in modern American history.
Lyndon B. Johnson — on the phone with Governor George Wallace — is interrupted when his secretary buzzes in, announcing that MLK was on the phone to speak with the President. Johnson responds with explosive hostility: “George, who does that nigger think he is? (Martin L. King calling to get a meeting about Civil Rights legislation after demonstrations to put pressure on the Administration to pass sweeping civil‑rights legislation.) I tell you what — I will give them niggers their civil rights, and I will have them voting Democrat for 200 years!”**
George H. W. Bush famously addressed the nation in 1989 about the dangers of crack cocaine, holding up a bag of crack cocaine that he said had been purchased near the White House. The War on Drugs and the sentencing disparities between crack and powder cocaine subsequently became major sources of controversy, particularly because of their disproportionate impact on Black Americans.
Bill Clinton signed the Violent Crime Control and Law Enforcement Act of 1994, one of the largest federal crime bills in American history. The legislation expanded federal funding for policing, prisons, and crime-prevention programs and included provisions that contributed to the expansion of incarceration.
It is also important to distinguish the 1994 crime bill from the USA PATRIOT Act, which became law in 2001 under President George W. Bush following the September 11 attacks. Joe Biden has claimed a role in writing major crime legislation during his Senate career, but he did not write the Patriot Act.

The Obama Years
The Obama administration also remains controversial.
The Fast and Furious operation was a federal gun-trafficking investigation that allowed firearms to be purchased by suspected straw buyers with the intention of tracking them to Mexican criminal organizations. The operation became controversial after firearms connected to it were found at crime scenes, including the location where U.S. Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry was killed.

Critics have characterized the operation as effectively “arming the Mexican cartels.” The operation involved federal law-enforcement personnel attempting to track firearms trafficking, but the government’s handling of the operation was heavily criticized and criminal!
The Affordable Care Act, commonly known as Obamacare, also transformed the American health-care system. Supporters argued that it expanded access to health insurance and protected people with preexisting conditions. Critics argued that it increased government involvement in health care and placed additional costs and mandates on individuals and businesses.
The idea of a major government-backed health-care overhaul did not begin with Obama.
During the Clinton administration, Hillary Clinton led the administration’s effort to develop a comprehensive health-care reform proposal. That initiative, commonly referred to as “Hillarycare” or “Clintoncare,” ultimately failed to gain enough political support to become law.
Although the Obama administration supported marriage equality, the Supreme Court’s decision in Obergefell v. Hodges (Case brought by the Demoncrats to get movement on the same sex marriage legislation brought by Obama) in 2015 established a constitutional right to same-sex marriage. The decision itself was made by the Supreme Court, rather than by the Obama administration.
The Clinton Foundation and Foreign Influence
There have also been serious allegations concerning the Clinton Foundation, foreign donations, and political influence.
The Clinton Foundation did receive substantial donations from foreign governments, businesses, and individuals. Those relationships generated questions about potential conflicts of interest and whether wealthy donors received inappropriate access to the Clintons.
One of the Claims was that the Clinton Foundation received $45 million from China to gain access to the U.S. border for fentanyl distribution, and that the foundation received $15 million from JoaquÃn “El Chapo” Guzmán, very serious allegations.
Likewise, El Chapo did personally attended a Clinton Foundation fundraising dinner at the White House, and that the foundation provided him with access to the U.S. border for human trafficking.
These allegations, however, illustrate why transparency surrounding political foundations, foreign donations, and access to powerful political figures matters.
Joe Biden opened that Border
The administration faced record levels of encounters at the U.S.–Mexico border — and it wasn’t just an oversight. He was flying illegal migrants around the country at midnight on military planes.

The presence of criminal organizations, fentanyl trafficking, human trafficking, and illegal immigration are legitimate national-security and public-safety concerns. The unprecedented scale of the border crisis also raised serious questions about U.S. sovereignty, border security, and the federal government’s responsibility to protect the nation. At the time Former President Trump was sounding the alarm however, fact checkers in media, online, all pegged Trump as a, "Chicken Little." However, that fact checkers proclamation has not aged well. Whether one characterizes those policies as a threat to national security or an act of political negligence, the consequences require serious legal repercussions. However, the policies are treated like political cosplay on both sides of the political spectrum — in all media and across the entire political landscape. Republican/conservative media keep telling the administration how these decisions will not win re‑election, when they should have been crying for blood. Democratic media prop up uneducated citizens, charging them with emotional narratives about slavery and the injustice of white America taking land from the Indians.
Meanwhile, after all the noise, none of them seem to realize that they are all reducing the people’s confidence in the constitutional protections guaranteed by its founders.
Moreover; the same standard should apply to allegations involving the Biden family’s foreign business dealings.
Joe Biden’s son, Hunter Biden, served on the board of the Ukrainian energy company Burisma Holdings. Notwithstanding, Hunter was an embarrassment to the country and to the president himself — an embarrassment he never have to endure. The media, the public, and politicians treated it like a speed bump and moved on, underestimating the lasting effect that such behavior would have in the long term.
So much so that, for the first time in American history, the very man who once said he didn’t want his kids riding buses to school in a “racial jungle,” and who referred to children from that “racial jungle” as “super predators,” now finds cocaine and marijuana in the White House. And needless to say, America knew exactly who's drugs it was, they assumed the drugs belonged to the “super predator” himself the Presidents very own son!
There have also been allegations that Joe Biden, "The Big Guy" personally retained a 10% stake in Burisma, after Hunter sold the company, to America's strongest economic competitor, China. That sale made China the leading competitor in the EV battery market.
Then the Biden administration also established strict fuel-efficiency and emissions standards that critics argued would increase the manufacturing and purchase costs of gasoline-powered vehicles while encouraging automakers and consumers to move toward electric and hybrid vehicles.
Whether those policies represented necessary environmental regulation or excessive government intervention in the automobile market remains unanswered by either party. The people are left thinking that the former president — and any elected official found to have questionable and obvious criminal intentions — will never be held accountable, unless it is low‑hanging fruit like Black or Brown political figure. Then, and only then, will both parties turn a blind eye.
Afghanistan and America’s Standing in the World
The Biden administration’s withdrawal from Afghanistan in August 2021 was another defining moment.
The evacuation resulted in the deaths of 13 U.S. service members in the Abbey Gate terrorist attack, while thousands of American citizens and Afghan allies were evacuated. The Taliban rapidly regained control of Afghanistan.
The chaotic withdrawal generated bipartisan criticism and raised serious questions about planning, intelligence, military strategy, and the responsibility of government to Americans and allies who had supported the United States.
Those questions deserve answers.
Finally, the Biden administration strategically surrendered our American allies in Russia, Korea, Israel, and China. It was his job to isolate America in the world. They took American taxpayers’ money and had us paying for our own distraction.
Joe Biden partnered with companies to control everything we see, hear, and read. He left our soldiers, weapons, and citizens in Afghanistan.
There are growing concerns about extremist organizations and their influence in America. The Muslim Brotherhood — an organization designated as extremist by several governments and widely criticized for its role in political destabilization — has been repeatedly accused of exporting the same destabilizing tactics it has used in other nations. The pattern is familiar: infiltrate institutions, exploit social fractures, and reshape political landscapes through ideological pressure rather than democratic persuasion.
In past generations, the American justice system often saw prisoners leave incarceration transformed — many emerged as Christians, committed to rebuilding their lives and contributing to their communities. Today, however, a troubling shift is reported: individuals leaving prison not rehabilitated, but hardened, radicalized, muslim and in many cases resigned to mediocrity. The concern is not about religion itself, but about the ideological pipelines that exploit vulnerable people at their lowest point, steering them toward extremism rather than redemption.
Americans deserve to know what threats actually exist, what intelligence our government possesses, and whether foreign or extremist organizations are attempting to influence American institutions.
At the same time, the conflict between federal immigration authorities and sanctuary jurisdictions raises legitimate questions about public safety.
Federal officials have stated that nearly 7,000 noncitizens with active ICE immigration detainer were released from local custody rather than being transferred to federal immigration authorities under New York's sanctuary policies and it's Governor Kathy Holcum. DHS has identified serious offenses within the population it has highlighted, including homicides, assaults, robberies, and sexual offenses.
Those numbers demand accountability. Under 8 CFR § 287.7, a detainer is technically a request — but once issued, the state is required by law to hold the detainee for up to 48 hours. Governor Holcum had a responsibility to maintain communication with ICE and remain malleable for the sake of New York residents. He failed to do so.
Individuals with active federal immigration detainers were released. Their criminal histories were ignored. Local authorities declined to transfer them to federal officials. And after their release, the public was left in the dark. These are not unreasonable questions — they are demands for accountability.
It seems clear that many mayors and governors elected today do not possess the character, maturity, or fortitude required to carry out their duties in defense of the citizens. These politicians behave like high‑school kids, obsessed with optics and performance instead of responsibility and law.
The people of America had better get involved. They must become far more selective with their vote. Too many treat it like a casual habit instead of the safeguard it was designed to be.
Federal officials and immigration authorities have issued formal demands to New York leadership, calling for greater cooperation with federal immigration enforcement and the transfer of individuals subject to federal detainers. Yet New York officials continue to defend sanctuary policies, insisting that state and local law enforcement should not be compelled to participate in federal immigration operations.
Under Section 287(g) of the Immigration and Nationality Act, the Department of Homeland Security has the authority to deputize local officers to perform specific immigration enforcement functions. This means New York had every legal pathway available to cooperate — and still chose resistance over responsibility.
This clash is not merely a policy disagreement; it is a direct conflict over accountability and public safety. Federal authorities argue that cooperation is essential to uphold immigration law and protect communities. New York officials counter with political posturing, shielding themselves behind sanctuary rhetoric while ignoring the consequences of releasing individuals subject to federal detainers.
The result is a widening gap between federal expectations and state defiance — and the people are left to bear the cost of that failure.
Under 8 U.S.C. § 1326, unlawful reentry after deportation is a federal crime. And now, ICE needs a good lawyer, because from my preview, if even one of the 7,000 detainees was wanted on a federal warrant or had previously been deported, then Governor Holcomb is now a felon and should be taken into custody. The law is clear, the obligations are clear, and the consequences should be just as clear.
ICE and the executive branch need to stop playing games and start handing out serious consequences to those who refuse to take law enforcement seriously. Accountability is not optional — it is the foundation of a functioning nation.
Are We Paying Attention?
Americans should also be asking whether we are paying sufficient attention to threats that may not be immediately visible. If extremist organizations are attempting to recruit, organize, raise money, influence political institutions, or otherwise undermine American security, those activities must be investigated. And if evidence of criminal conduct exists, those responsible should be held accountable under the law.
But there is an equally important principle: political disagreement is not a crime. Calls for martial law or the arrest of political leaders simply because they are considered “radical” must be approached with extreme caution. In a constitutional republic, criminal conduct must be established through evidence and due process — not political labels, not emotional rhetoric, and not ideological fear.
If politicians have committed crimes, investigate them. If the evidence supports prosecution, prosecute them. If they have not committed crimes, they remain entitled to the same constitutional protections as everyone else. That is what the rule of law requires — a system where justice is grounded in evidence, not in the passions of the moment.
This Is Bigger Than Politics
The American people deserve transparency. We deserve to know how many individuals with active ICE detainers are being released, what crimes they were convicted of, why federal detainers are not being honored, and what happens when those individuals return to their communities.
We also deserve honest information about national‑security threats, extremist organizations, foreign influence, and the policies being implemented in response. We should not be distracted by slogans, partisan narratives, or political theater.
This is bigger than an election. It is about the safety of our communities, the security of our nation, the integrity of our institutions, and whether the laws of this country are being applied consistently and without favoritism.
Americans should demand evidence, transparency, accountability, and due process from everyone — regardless of political party, ideology, wealth, position, or influence. Trust in government is not automatic; it must be earned through clarity, honesty, and lawful conduct.
Because when the government asks its citizens to trust it, the citizens have every right to ask:
What is happening? Who knows about it? Who is responsible? What does the evidence show? And what are we going to do about it?
